Busy, busy, busy

I know, I know. I haven't posted on here in quite awhile. I've been busier than I think I've ever been. I wasn't on the computer hardly at all last week. (amazing huh?) Well, at least I'm here now, right? Right.

I've been listening to "The Long Road" Nickelback album almost constantly these past few days. I'm actually listening to it at this very moment! It rocks. You've probably heard at least one of their songs on the radio at one point or another. Their last hit, (which was HUGE) was "Someday". It's one of my favorites on the album. I want to get some of their other albums now. I think they have at least two others. Onward to music land!

Keeping with the music theme, I really want a electric keyboard. You know, the ones that have like 700 different instruments on them? Yeah. One of those. I haven't been able to find a good one for under $500 though. Another thing is, I play piano so I MUST have a full 88-keyboard. I guess I'm just picky.

Does anyone know of a website that has piano sheet music available for printing? I've done a little searching but haven't found anything. Either that or, a website that has really cheap sheet music? I've really been wanting some new awesome songs to play. Everyone has already heard the songs I know.

Well, I guess that about wraps it up for today! I'll try to post more often!

Pointless Websites

Does anyone want to do some pointless browsing? If you do, just check out these links:

http://www.wd40.com
http://www.nutellaUSA.com
http://www.pringles.com

I just don't see the point in these websites! What in the world are you going to do on a WD-40 website?! Forgive me for criticizing these websites but, in my opinion they are utterly and completely pointless. Maybe they made them just so it looks nice on their packaging or something.

Now for some not so pointless browsing!

Anyone with a broadband, sattelite, or DSL connection should play this game:

http://games.yahoo.com/games/downloads/tx.html

It's called "TextTwist". It's really fun. If you have slow internet (like me) you can just click "Download" on the right side of the page. That's what I did considering it took half an hour to download, I don't even want to try to play it online.

If you want to see REBOL in action you can look at the new web browser plugin demo's here:

http://www.rebol.net/plugin/demos

When you open the page it will ask you if you want to install the plugin. Rest assured, it will not do anything undesirable to your system. If you do not install the plugin you will not be able to view the demo's. While looking at a demo you can click "View Code" near the bottom of the page to view the REBOL code generating the demo. Some of it may be a little advanced though. I'm not sure.
(NOTE: plugin is only available for IE at this point)

Resolutions? Nah.

Well, it's a new year again. What happened to 2004? A couple of weeks ago I was on my summer vacation in California! Time is a weird thing. Most of the time it just flies by or, if your sitting in a classroom with a really boring teacher well, time just stops. It crawls. It creeps. Then, after school you go out to the mall and BOOM! It's your curfew already. Time is a weird thing.

I don't quite get this whole New Years resolution thing. Who say's you have to wait until it's new year to start trying to be a better person? I say, if you think of something that would make you a better person, don't wait 6 months before actually trying. But, I guess if a new years means everyone starts being a better person then, I guess it's alright.

Who watched the Rose Parade today? I sure did. I plan to be there next year actually. Can you beleive that some of the floats had over 40,000 flowers on them? Some took about 10,000 man hours to put together. Amazing. Plus, the people who drive the floats can't see a thing! They're just going by what someone out on the road is telling them! "Okay, coming up to a curve here, turn right, now! NOW! NOOO! That's left! LOOK OUT! AAAUUGGHH!" Sorry. A little cruel humor there. :)

Well, I guess that's all for today. Happy New Year everyone! Get going on those resolutions
!
